Ellie - Jersey Cow
Ellie is our Jersey heifer, purchased in spring 2020. She may have been a spur-of-the-moment auction purchase but it was a great decision. She is a giant sweetheart, despite the fact that she sometimes likes to try and jump on us to play. We are hoping she is actually bred by our Zebu bull now so that we can start using her for milk production for our family. We may decided to offer milk products going into the future as well.
Zebu
We are partners in this project with another local homesteader and friend of ours. Between the two of us we have 4 cows, 2 bulls, and as of 8/12/24 a new heifer calf. Our goals are to produce well behaved and beautiful zebu. We are working towards smaller sized cattle with this project.
